Prosalud Chile is a non-profit, charitable organization granted legal status by the government of Chile in 2005.
Its mission is to promote a preventive culture in the Chilean people, especially in young people, in order to contribute in the exercise of the responsible, healthy and risks-free sexuality, through varied educational modalities.
Our goals include between others, to disseminate the sexual and reproductive rights, to promote safe and responsible sexual behavior, to contribute in decrease unplanned pregnancy rates, especially among adolescents, to generate preventive and safe behavior in STIs, including HIV/AIDS and to facilitate the knowledge on contraceptives methods and the access to sexual and reproductive services.
Prosalud Chile is a member of the Prosalud Inter-Americana (PSIA) network.
